Description
Semaglutide is a modified glucagon-like peptide-1 analog that selectively binds to and activates the GLP-1 receptor. It is commonly examined in controlled studies involving receptor activation, ligand-binding characteristics, intracellular signaling, metabolic pathway responses, and other defined biochemical endpoints. Its structural modifications and albumin-binding properties also make it useful for investigating peptide stability and prolonged receptor activity.
FDA-approved prescription products containing semaglutide exist; however, this research material is not an FDA-approved drug product and must not be represented as equivalent to an approved medication. It is not intended for weight loss, blood-glucose management, disease treatment, or any other human application. For Research Use Only. Not for human or veterinary use, ingestion, injection, diagnostic procedures, or therapeutic applications.
